Advanced Polymer Trading FZC (APT), an international trading company specialising in the world wide trade of rubber and plastics, is pleased to announce that it will be an exhibitor at the 11th International Arab Plastics and Rubber Industry trade show and conference.

The event, which runs from 7th January to 10th January 2013, will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center in Dubai, UAE. The UAE is a strategically important choice of location for the trade show as the Gulf States are set to become the number one source of petrochemicals and plastics products in the world.

It is forecast that GCC production of polyethylene and polypropylene resins will rise to 31 million tonnes by 2015. With this in mind, APT will be exhibiting a range of products from Mitsui Chemical including EPDM, TAFMER, Milastomer and Admer. It will also show Eval from Eval Europe, CR and ER from DENKA and a number of engineering plastics from Arel.

As well as raw petrochemical materials, APT will also be exhibiting additives such as plastic masterbatch and related additives from Aksoy Plastic and PVC impact modifier and processing aids from Indofil.

It is expected that the 2013 show will be the biggest event so far in ArabPlast’s history. APT are confident that the show will boost business. In previous years nearly half of all exhibitors reported that they signed lucrative deals during the show.

Advanced Polymer Trading to Attend the Most Important International Plastics Trade Fair for Eurasia This Year

APT will participate in Plast Eurasia 2012, which starts on 29th November 2012, one of the most important international plastics trade fairs for Turkey and Eurasia. APT will join its colouring solutions partner Aksoy Plastik on stand 719A in hall 7.

APT will be joining its partner Aksoy Plastik who specialize in supplying colouring solutions and performance improving additives.

Plast Eurasia 2012 is organized by TÜYAP Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. in cooperation with the PAGEV (Turkish Plastics Manufacturers, Research Development and Education Foundation) and will take place between 29th November and 2nd December 2012 at the at TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center, Istanbul, Turkey.

This year’s event will take place in 10 fully occupied halls with exhibitors from over 1000 companies. That makes the 2012 trade show the biggest in the event’s history. 2010 saw 755 different companies spanning 38 countries, while this year’s 1000+ participants will be representing over 50 countries.

The growth of the event reflects the continued growth in the plastics market in Turkey and Eurasia. APT together with Aksoy will use this event to meet new customers and connect with leading professionals and decision makers. This will help both companies in their task of expanding into new markets.

APT to Market and Distribute a Variety of Indofil’s Products for the PVC Industry

Advanced Polymer Trading has entered into a marketing and distribution deal with Indofil Industries to sell a range of acrylic impact modifiers and Indofil’s acrylic processing aids for the PVC industry.

Advanced Polymer Trading FZC (APT), an international trading company specialising in the world wide trade of rubber and plastics, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a new marketing and distribution deal with Indofil Industries. As part of the deal, APT will market and distribute several speciality chemicals produced by Indofil for use in the PVC industry.

Effective immediately APT will market and distribute a range of Indofil’s acrylic impact modifiers including Indofil KM-323B, a general purpose impact modifier with high weather resistance and excellent impact strength; KM-355, a superior performance acrylic impact modifier for opaque applications; and KM-350 which is suitable for clear applications.

Together with the impact modifiers, APT will also sell Indofil K-120ND- a general purpose processing aid; Indofil K-120PF– a low cost processing aid for pipes and fittings; Indofil K125 – a high molecular weight processing aid for foam profiles; Indofil K0120CL – for clear applications and Indofil PMA 175 – a lubricating processing aid for single screw and twin screw extrusion.

Indofil has a strong Asian market share along with a growing and respected international presence. The new deal with APT will contribute to the growth and expansion of both companies and opens the door for future collaborations in marketing, distribution, research and development.

Advanced Polymer Trading (APT), an international trading company specialising in the world wide trade of rubber, rubber additives, plastics and petrochemicals has entered into a new agreement with the Japanese chemical company Denka. Under the terms of the new agreement, APT will distribute industrial grades of Denka’s Chloroprene Rubber (CR) in the Middle East.

Chloroprene rubber is one of the most important types of rubber in use today. Due to its superior characteristics (when compared to natural and other types of synthetic rubber) it is used in a variety of applications including as hoses and belts for the automotive industry, as electric wire, as architectural rubber product, and as a general industrial material.

CR is a versatile material and its characteristic features include high elasticity, resistance to solvents, heat, ozone, low temperature and weather ageing.

Originally Chloroprene Rubber was used primarily in electric wire and adhesives, however it is now in demand for a whole range of applications including automotive components.
