Advanced Polymer Trading has entered into a marketing and distribution deal with Kraiburg TPE GmbH & Co. to sell its range of thermoplastic elastomers.

Advanced Polymer Trading FZC (APT), an international trading company specialising in the world wide trade of rubber and plastics, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a marketing and distribution deal with Kraiburg TPE GmbH & Co. Under the deal, APT will market and distribute a variety of Kraiburg TPE’s thermoplastic elastomers.

Kraiburg TPE, which is headquartered in Waldkraiburg, Germany, is a global manufacturer of thermoplastic elastomers. The company offers a broad range of compounds for use in the automotive industry, as well as in many consumer sectors.

Its range of TPE products include THERMOLAST®, COPEC®, HIPEX®, and For-Tec E. They can be processed with injection molding or extrusion, and offer many advantages to manufacturers from processing to product design.

Kraiburg TPE has production sites in Germany, the US, and Malaysia. The new agreement with APT will contribute to the growth and expansion of both companies and opens the way for further collaborations in marketing, distribution, research and development.

APT is allocating more resources from its 2014 budget to expand its research and development unit. As a result the company will add more staff and extra equipment.

APT works closely with its Masterbatch supplier AKSOY PLASIK to provide the very latest and most advanced UV Masterbatches for a variety of materials including PET, PBT and POM.

Ultraviolet light, which is found naturally in sunlight, not only affects people’s skin but it can also interact with different plastic compounds. The use of UV stabilizers and absorbers can mitigate these reactions and substantially reduce the degradation due to solar radiation.

AKSOY’s UV Masterbatches can be used in a wide range of industries including agriculture and food packaging. Its applications include woven sacks, raffia tapes, BCF yarn, agricultural greenhouse film, trash cans and garden furniture.

Joining APT, on stand 8C03 in Hall 8, will be leading industry experts in polymer engineering, polymer characterization, polymer deformulation and polymeric resin development. They will be available to answer technical questions throughout the whole event which runs from 7th January to 10th January 2013.

It is predicted that GCC production of polyethylene and polypropylene resins will rise to 31 million tonnes by 2015. To reflect this, APT will be exhibiting a range of products from Mitsui Chemical including EPDM, TAFMER, Milastomer and Admer. The UAE is a strategically important choice of location for the trade show as the Gulf States are set to become the number one source of petrochemicals and plastics products in the world.

Advanced Polymer Trading to Attend the Most Important International Plastics Trade Fair for Eurasia This Year

APT will participate in Plast Eurasia 2012, which starts on 29th November 2012, one of the most important international plastics trade fairs for Turkey and Eurasia. APT will join its colouring solutions partner Aksoy Plastik on stand 719A in hall 7.

Plast Eurasia 2012 is organized by TÜYAP Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. in cooperation with the PAGEV (Turkish Plastics Manufacturers, Research Development and Education Foundation) and will take place between 29th November and 2nd December 2012 at the at TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center, Istanbul, Turkey.

This year’s event will take place in 10 fully occupied halls with exhibitors from over 1000 companies. That makes the 2012 trade show the biggest in the event’s history. 2010 saw 755 different companies spanning 38 countries, while this year’s 1000+ participants will be representing over 50 countries.

The growth of the event reflects the continued growth in the plastics market in Turkey and Eurasia. APT together with Aksoy will use this event to meet new customers and connect with leading professionals and decision makers.
