APT to Market and Distribute a Variety of TPE Compounds from Kraiburg TPE GmbH & Co.

Advanced Polymer Trading has entered into a marketing and distribution deal with Kraiburg TPE GmbH & Co. to sell its range of thermoplastic elastomers.

Advanced Polymer Trading FZC (APT), an international trading company specialising in the world wide trade of rubber and plastics, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a marketing and distribution deal with Kraiburg TPE GmbH & Co. Under the deal, APT will market and distribute a variety of Kraiburg TPE’s thermoplastic elastomers.

Kraiburg TPE, which is headquartered in Waldkraiburg, Germany, is a global manufacturer of thermoplastic elastomers. The company offers a broad range of compounds for use in the automotive industry, as well as in many consumer sectors.

Its range of TPE products include THERMOLAST®, COPEC®, HIPEX®, and For-Tec E. They can be processed with injection molding or extrusion, and offer many advantages to manufacturers from processing to product design.

Kraiburg TPE has production sites in Germany, the US, and Malaysia. The new agreement with APT will contribute to the growth and expansion of both companies and opens the way for further collaborations in marketing, distribution, research and development.

Advanced Polymer Trading is Offering Technical Help During ArabPlast 2015

It is anticipated that the Gulf’s global petrochemical industry market share will increase to over 17% in the next five years. What this means is that the Gulf region is on the verge of becoming the world’s largest source of polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP). This makes ArabPlast 2015 an ideal and important industry trade show.

In fact, ArabPlast 2015 is the largest petrochemical, plastics, and rubber industry trade show in the Middle East. The event gives companies like APT unparalleled access to international trade visitors, including those with decision-making authority.

Advanced Polymer Trading to Increase R&D Staff and Equipment to Better Serve its Customers

APT is allocating more resources from its 2014 budget to expand its research and development unit. As a result the company will add more staff and extra equipment.

Advanced Polymer Trading, an international trading company specialising in the world wide trade of rubber and plastics, has announced a significant increase in the money allocated to its research and development department for 2014.

The increased budget will be used for extra staff and equipment and allow the company to work on more R&D projects. APT works closely with its supply partners on projects which help expand the markets for the various chemical, plastic, rubber and modifier products that it trades.

APT has a proven track record in providing value added services to customers via its expertise in technical sales and R&D. Part of APT’s Research and Development department is the “APT Lab”, a high-tech facility used for plastic and polymer R&D.

Employing Ph.D. polymer scientists and a team of well trained application engineers and technicians, the APT Lab offers one of the best facilities for plastic and rubber R&D within the Middle East.

Advanced Polymer Trading Launches New Initiative to Promote UV Masterbatch in new Industries

Advanced Polymer Trading has launched a new program to underline the uses and abilities of UV stabilizers and absorbers in a variety of different applications including agricultural film and BCF yarn.

Advanced Polymer Trading, an international trading company specialising in the world wide trade of rubber and plastics, is pleased to announce its new initiative to promote the different uses of UV stabilizers and absorbers across a variety of applications including agricultural film, BCF yarn, greenhouse materials and a broad spectrum of injection moulding applications.

APT works closely with its Masterbatch supplier AKSOY PLASIK to provide the very latest and most advanced UV Masterbatches for a variety of materials including PET, PBT and POM.

Ultraviolet light, which is found naturally in sunlight, not only affects people’s skin but it can also interact with different plastic compounds. The use of UV stabilizers and absorbers can mitigate these reactions and substantially reduce the degradation due to solar radiation.

AKSOY’s UV Masterbatches can be used in a wide range of industries including agriculture and food packaging. Its applications include woven sacks, raffia tapes, BCF yarn, agricultural greenhouse film, trash cans and garden furniture.

The use of UV Masterbatches helps protect polymers against the degradation caused by Ultraviolet light, as well as avoiding discoloration while improving processability.

APT will be hosting polymer experts from Mitsui Chemical Europe, Eval Europe and Indofil along with its own in-house experts during ArabPlast. APT is exhibiting in Hall 8 at ArabPlast 2013, which starts on 7th January 2013.

Advanced Polymer Trading FZC (APT), an international trading company specialising in the world wide trade of rubber and plastics, is pleased to announce that its own in-house polymer engineers will be joined by other polymer experts from Mitsui Chemical Europe, Eval Europe and Indofil when it exhibits at the 11th International Arab Plastics and Rubber Industry trade show and conference.

Joining APT, on stand 8C03 in Hall 8, will be leading industry experts in polymer engineering, polymer characterization, polymer deformulation and polymeric resin development. They will be available to answer technical questions throughout the whole event which runs from 7th January to 10th January 2013.

It is predicted that GCC production of polyethylene and polypropylene resins will rise to 31 million tonnes by 2015. To reflect this, APT will be exhibiting a range of products from Mitsui Chemical including EPDM, TAFMER, Milastomer and Admer. It will also show Eval from Eval Europe and PVC impact modifiers and processing aids from Indofil.

As well as raw petrochemical materials, APT will also be exhibiting additives such as plastic masterbatch and related additives; Chloroprene Rubber (CR) and Acrylic Rubber (ER); and a number of engineering plastics.

The 2013 show, which will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center in Dubai, UAE, is expected to be the biggest event so far in ArabPlast’s history. The event, which runs from 7th January to 10th January 2013, will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center in Dubai, UAE. The UAE is a strategically important choice of location for the trade show as the Gulf States are set to become the number one source of petrochemicals and plastics products in the world.

It is forecast that GCC production of polyethylene and polypropylene resins will rise to 31 million tonnes by 2015. Advanced Polymer Trading to Attend the Most Important International Plastics Trade Fair for Eurasia This Year

APT will participate in Plast Eurasia 2012, which starts on 29th November 2012, one of the most important international plastics trade fairs for Turkey and Eurasia. APT will join its colouring solutions partner Aksoy Plastik on stand 719A in hall 7.

Advanced Polymer Trading FZC (APT), an international trading company specialising in the world wide trade of rubber and plastics, will be exhibiting at Plast Eurasia 2012, the 22nd International Istanbul Plastic Industries Fair. APT will be joining its partner Aksoy Plastik who specialize in supplying colouring solutions and performance improving additives.

Plast Eurasia 2012 is organized by TÜYAP Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. in cooperation with the PAGEV (Turkish Plastics Manufacturers, Research Development and Education Foundation) and will take place between 29th November and 2nd December 2012 at the at TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center, Istanbul, Turkey.

This year’s event will take place in 10 fully occupied halls with exhibitors from over 1000 companies. That makes the 2012 trade show the biggest in the event’s history. 2010 saw 755 different companies spanning 38 countries, while this year’s 1000+ participants will be representing over 50 countries.

The growth of the event reflects the continued growth in the plastics market in Turkey and Eurasia. APT together with Aksoy will use this event to meet new customers and connect with leading professionals and decision makers. This will help both companies in their task of expanding into new markets.

Plast Eurasia 2012 isn’t only for large international companies. The trade show also attracts small and medium sized companies. It is this diversity along with the shows size and success that makes Plast Eurasia the most significant trade event for the plastics industry.
